5 Powerful Habits that will Change Your Life

You know how sometimes we feel stuck and we really don't know where to start ?Well today this will change ! I am going to list 5 most powerful habits so you can get going andbring the best versions of yourself to life ! First I know that it may be difficult to put some of them topractice right away. However, have in mind that there is no specific way to get where you want,the important step is to actually start. It does not have to be a perfect journey , in fact, that is thebeauty of it !
1- Exercise at least 30 min a day
Now, it does not matter if you go to the gym, go for a run, for a walk, some yoga, even just doingchores in your home (just get up and move!). A good way to stay consistent with this is putting analarm on every day and doing it at the same time every day, it will become a routine and eventuallybecome easier to maintain. Doing any type of exercise daily not only helps you physically , it helpsyour mental health as well, such as stress, anxiety and depression.
2- Straighten your posture
This is a very underrated habit , pay attention to your posture and how you feel when you have abad posture, then correct it and see how it feels then. Harvard studies have shown that a good posturehelps to prevent injuries and get greater gains . Working on your balance will also improve yourperformance in every physical task plus it gives you a boost of confidence and that is never too much!
3- Give yourself a compliment every day
It sounds corny and it is small but it is effective I promise. First thing in the morning is totell your self" I love ______ about myself" . It can be physical and/ or it can be intelectual comment.For example, your eyes, smile, your kindness, your loyalty, etc. Something you genuinely value aboutyourself! (You will thank yourself for that later..)
4- Drink water!!!!
Have you been drinking enough water? (Be honest) It is recommended to drink at least 6 bottlesof water daily, though it depends on the weather as well, if you are in a tropical area ,it will require more than the bare minimum in order to be hydrated . Studies have shown thatdrinking enough water has more benefits than we think, it helps with acne problems, digestive system,cardiovascular system, it even helps to prevent mild muscle cramp and soreness.
5-Reward yourself!
Professionals confirm that most of the time it is very difficult to suddenly go "all in" because itbecomes harder when you just do the complete opposite of what you normally do, even if it's good foryou. It kind of feels like a punishment at the time. So plan ahead a " cheat meal" or go out with somefriends , family, enjoy yourself because you deserve it. It is important to plan that ahead of time so youcan go right back on track as soon as you take that break!
Keep in mind that everyone is different and you do not have to start every habit right away,if you want, take it slow and start with 2 habits daily, get used to them, then start 2 or 3 more! Alsoplease do not feel frustrated because you may ot see the progress as soon as you want to see them ,but as I said earlier, the important part is to actually start and do something about it !
